Biggest thrifting haul ever!

Happy September ! Can not believe we're approaching autumn! It's so hard to say goodbye to summer. In the northeast we seem to have such short summers and long winters. ;( Oh well, I do enjoy the four seasons. It's what my hubby and I grew up with and I want our babies to have it too! Speaking of the babies they are approaching 10 months! It's unbelievable! Baby Ella and baby James will be a year old in November. Time to starting thinking about birthday party ideas!

Let me get back to my love of thrifting! On Thursday evening, I generally check out Craig's list and the local newspapers online for tagsales and estate sales. I found one that really caught my eye, a church tag sale with brilliant pics of sweet items! I planned on making a stop at this sale! So time to share my haul! ;D

I'll start with what I thrifted for myself. Lovely vintage glasses, two sweet sets of four! They make me smile!

About a year ago I found a set of these drinking glasses in pink and white, so sweet! Here they are at Pink thrift

The remaining items are for my lil ones.

Love the primary colors for this kitchen area!
Sweet pull toys!
Love cloth books for the babes! Lovely stacking toys.
Look at this adorable lil bunny, has a zipper on the bottom. Ella and James love puppets!
Huge score! Gotta love fisher price!
This moma loves children's books and illustrations!
Love maisy books for infants and toddlers!
Thanks for checking out my blog, I love reading your comments!

Have a great week!

Our house is the gray one in the middle!

Saturday- so excited for this vacation, I've been looking forward to this for a long while! I packed the van myself, it was super hot and not fun! We arrive in Milford, it's beautiful but hot! Our family welcomes us and my sis soon arrives with gram and we all settle in. Phew, Jacey and I get the twins ready for a much deserved evening swim! What an amazing, refreshing swim! The babies loved it too! ; )

Baby James and grandpa!
Thursday- a bit of a dreary day! Gav and I ventured out with the twins to the Christmas Tree Shop!

A little wagon ride on the boardwalk!

Friday- mommy time at the thrift store :) and the mall! I found a Beatrix potter treasure which I collect for the babies! It was nice to have some free time at the mall where I found a lovely sundress and aqua cardigan! We ended up leaving Friday night, thinking the babies may have been a little homesick. Saturday cleanup was probably a bit easier considering we had a lot of baggage! ;)

Thanks for a great vacation! I am so blessed!

Summer thrifting!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by, I love visitors, followers and your lovely comments! I would have to say my favorite hobby would be thrifting! How great is it when you can furnish/ decorate your home for a fraction of the cost or clothe your children! Or yourself! I remember growing up my grandmother saying "waste not want not" or "make it do or do without" she was very frugal! She grew up during the depression, so I understand! One of my favorite childhood memories is tag saling with my mother! I remember really enjoying the time we spent together treasure hunting!

Here are some treasures I'd like to share that I've actually found with my little lovebugs!

How cute is this vintage dustpan and brush!
How about this sweet kitty washing and this little duckling!
Vintage chick measuring cups which need a good delicate washing!
Linens (vintage) are a favorite of mine!
Vintage Christmas Elfs!
How unique is this lil mood barometer?
I did make it to the Brimfield antique and flea market!
Here is my beautiful family!

My sweet babies!
